“She helped me grow in ways that I’ve probably never expressed out loud — even to her,” said the Belgian.
“It started with a tweet. I only had a few thousand followers at the time, because I was still on loan at Werder Bremen. So I tweeted something about a match or whatever, and this pretty girl favorited it.”
They say a tweet goes a long way and this is one of those tweets that change a man’s life. It was there it all began and not when he became a superstar at Manchester City. From there, it was love for both of them. In just a year, they were already expecting a baby boy as announced by Michèle in September 2015. The beautiful lady that captured the heart of the Manchester City player is a native of Genk in Belgium. She studied at the University of Hasselt in Belgium. She has worked herself up to where she is today. A look into her past showed that she has worked at some not too decent places.
Kevin De Bruyne’s wife worked as a hostess and promo girl for Prime Impressions in Hasselt. All this period, she was still trying to find her feet as a young lady. Meeting KDB was a turning point in her life. For someone that only liked a tweet from a footballer that will have gotten at least a thousand likes on the same tweet, and he still noticed her, it was something meant to be.
It was so natural for her to feel something for the footballer and with KDB just coming out of his old relationship, it was a perfect opportunity to start afresh. With their relationship gathering momentum, Michèle started visiting the Etihad but not a frequent visitor. She was last seen during City’s trophy win at the club.
As the relationship grew and already having a boy together, it was only a matter of time before he proposes to her officially. He finally did in a very romantic way at a unique location. This was the beginning of De Bruyne’s family and what was next was the arrival of their first baby. This finally happened on March 10, 2016, and he is called Mason Millian de Bruyne. KDB displayed his on-pitch prowess also at home as he fired in another baby towards the end of 2018 and they had their second son on October 31st, 2018, two years after the first. He is called Rome de Bruyne.
De Bruyne is a family man to the core and has not been reported to have had an affair outside his marriage. His football has also improved ever since as he keeps on banging the goals and assists for the Citizens.
